Press Release: PCBA-Depaneling
Photonics Systems Group (PSG), a leading provider of laser systems for electronics manufacturing, unveiled the next generation DP10x0 Depaneling Platform and the LT45x0 Circuit Trimmer, which has been shown publicly for the first time at productronica 2025 in Munich (November 18–21, 2025).
The new InnoLas DP10X0 redefines PCBA Depaneling
„Customers want more accuracy and faster ramps without complexity,” said Thorne Lietz from Photonics Systems Group. „The new DP10x0 takes our proven depaneling platform to the next level with higher accuracy, a new software stack, and better serviceability through the RaynCore modular technology.”
The core element of the new InnoLas DP10X0 platform is its modular architecture which sets a new standard for future-proof design in the industry.
Field upgrades such as dual-head lasers, automated parts handling, or upgrades for laser sources that may not yet exist enable a level of sustainability that is unique among laser depaneling systems.

The highlights of the new DP10X0 at a glance:
- Dual Head option
- double the cutting speed
- The RAYNCORE Concept makes laser upgrade replacements as easy as never before
- Flexibility and versatility for all PCB materials, also advanced materials such as ceramics, glasses, flexible printed circuits (FPC) and insulated metal substrates (IMS)
- First class and stable cutting quality approved by leading EMS companies from automotive, aerospace, defense and medical industries
- Photonics OS 5: The proven and most user-friendly HMI
- now also standard on the DP10X0 platform
The new LT45x0 completes the lineup for cost sensitive sensor and chip resistor trimming applications
With the LT45x0, PSG completes its laser trimming lineup for more cost sensitive applications while continuing to champion the flagship LT50x0 for ultra fast, high precision chip and sensor laser trimming and the proven WT35x0 Wafer Trimmer for mixed signal devices at wafer level.
„LT45x0 completes our trimming portfolio for cost sensitive products—while LT50x0 remains the benchmark for ultra fast, precise chip and sensor trimming, and WT35x0 continues to deliver reliable results for mixed signal devices at wafer level,” said Gabriele Fischer from PSG.

Positioned under PSG’s LT50x0 flagship, the LT45x0 provides:
- PSG grade precision trimming with process capability designed to meet Cpk ≥ 1.67 at customer defined tolerances
- Modern measurement backbone with fast settling SMU based measurement, stable fixturing, and robust probe contact options
- Lower cost of ownership through modular hardware, a unified control stack, and service commonality with other PSG platforms
- Ideal for: thick and thin film resistors and module level trimming where cost and footprint matter
PSG’s Trimming Platform lineup at a glance:
- LT45x0 — cost effective trimming: new platform completing the portfolio for price sensitive applications
- LT50x0 — ultra fast, precise chip & sensor trimming: our flagship for best in class takt time and accuracy
- WT35x0 — wafer level trimming for mixed signal devices: proven performance for wafer level adjustment and calibration
Modular automations and a seamless digital production ecosystem
During the show, PSG showed as well their outstanding competence in modular automation solutions. Starting from simple standalone machines with manual loading and unloading, PSG is able to easily upgrade the machine to different automation levels – up to fully integrated production lines for high volume production. Due to the modular design, the level of automation can grow with the customer’s demand. Furthermore customers benefit from standardized and qualified processes, that can be easily transferred 1:1 from rapid-prototyping environments to high-volume series production.
PSG presented at Productronica as well a complete digital ecosystem for the laser-micromachining of electronic and semiconductor applications. PSG’s digital CAD-CAM solution guides the user from different drawing formats to the finished products with a few clicks. Beyond that PSG offers the service to convert programs in different formats from legacy systems such as mechanical routers and, doing so, makes the entry to laser-micromachining very easy.
Customers of PSG can rely on full-service solutions which include, beyond regular maintenance and 24/7 onsite and remote support, as well the access to the new Equipment Cloud, a realtime machine condition and performance monitoring platform, which complies with highest IT security standards.
