Your tasks:
- You will develop, test and maintain sophisticated software solutions for the sequence control of our laser processing systems.
- You will help to design software solutions in C# for customised machines and support the software from the first draft through to release.
- In agile teams, you will work closely with other software developers and colleagues from other technical departments; from requirements specifications to the implementation of solutions.
- You carry out error analyses on existing systems and derive measures to rectify them.
- You document your progress in Confluence and Jira to ensure the transfer of knowledge within the team.
Your profile:
- Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, engineering informatics, mechatronics or comparable or you are about to graduate (start as a working student with subsequent Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis with us)
- Alternatively: Technician (m/f/d) with relevant specialisation / programmer, e.g. IT specialist/computer science expert (m/f/d) or comparable training
- Sound knowledge of C# or another object-oriented programming language (e.g. C++ / Java / Python)
- Good understanding of software development; you can quickly familiarise yourself with new topics
- Open-minded towards modern development processes (e.g. Scrum/Kanban, ticket systems, version control systems)
- Independent and structured way of working
- Good to very good written and spoken German and English skills
Advantages are:
- Experience in .NET
- Willingness to travel moderately (approx. 15 days/year).
- Initial experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
