Photonics Systems Group, the leading German laser equipment group for micro material processing, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kurt Weber as Director of Sales North America.
Kurt brings in more than 30 years’ professional experience in the high-tech equipment industry, establishing worldwide sales and after service organizations for new industries and emerging markets.
“We are very happy to get Kurt on board to organize our sales and after sales structure in North America,” said Antonio Schmidt – CSO of the Photonics Systems Group.
“Kurt’s extreme knowledge of structuring the sales and after sales business is a valuable asset that will help us to expand our business in North America.
Kurt comes to the Photonics Systems Group from his previous role as Vice President of Business development, where he was responsible for all Sales in North America and Asia concerning PCB and Micro electronics.
He commented: “We are really looking forward to bringing a truly innovative product to the North American market. ”
Kurt has a background in mechanical engineering and has worked many years in applications support and service prior to taking on managerial responsibilities.
